Alaska Underdogs Rescue and Rehabilitation Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization operating in and serving the Matanuska-Susitna Valley and Anchorage.
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs who would otherwise be overlooked and at risk of euthanasia due to behavioral challenges, like dog or human reactivity.
Our team of fosters provide a safe haven for dogs in need and help to rehabilitate them through training and socialization.
We want to empower our fosters through continued training so that they can, in turn, help to increase the adoptability of every dog that we rescue.
By adopting from Alaska Underdogs, you are not only giving a deserving dog a second chance at life, but you are also helping us to continue our mission to save more dogs in need.
Sully is now officially the longest rescue resident, and while he's doing phenomenal in his foster home, he'd really like to move on to his forever home! His obedience training has been top-notch, and he loves to perform. He works hard for either treats or toys (he needs the SUPER CHEWER toys, nothing else will last). His one fault is that he gets too excited when he meets new people, so that will now be his sole focus during training sessions. He has lots of energy for hikes, and will make an active family the perfect companion.
